From hand coded HTML in 1995 to WordPress and Elementor today
I built my first websites in 1995, back when every page was typed out by hand in plain HTML and most people were still connecting through a dial up modem. There were no page builders and no templates to lean on. If you wanted a menu to line up or a photo to sit in the right spot, you worked it out line by line.
Those early days taught me how websites actually work underneath. That still helps me now. These days I build on WordPress with Elementor, which means you get a site that is quick to load, easy to edit and not locked into some unusual system only one company understands.
Over three decades I’ve built websites for small businesses in a long list of industries, from trades and builders to health practices, retailers and tourism operators. The tools have changed many times. The job hasn’t really. A good small business website still needs to explain what you do, show people why they can trust you and make it easy to get in touch.
Why there are no local reviews on this site yet
Website Design Ballarat is a new brand. I have plenty of experience behind me, but I don’t have Ballarat reviews or a portfolio of Ballarat businesses to show you yet. I’m not going to pretend otherwise by filling this page with quotes from people you can’t check.
